Sizzling score for Gail
Last thursday saw 65 ladies play in a Club Stroke competition.
The weather favoured the players in the morning with warm sunshine. However, the wind rain and hail in the afternoon didn't hold back Gail Steed as she powered her way to a nett 66, four shots ahead of the field.
Once again there was fierce competition for the runner up places. Barbara Gartland took second place with an impressive nett 0. Third place went, on the count back t, to Berry O'Doherty just squeezing past Siobhan donnelly both with nett 71.
